Conwy
Conwy (or Conway) cannot be thought about in the UK unless its associated with its castle and bridges. The town is surrounded by a thick castle wall, and the castle rises up from within, from outcrops of solid rock. You can walk along the walls, a circuit nearly a mile long, with twenty-two towers punctuating the route on the way round.
The town inside the castle walls is small with hilly streets and individual shops, dotted about with occasional tea rooms and cafes. You can walk down to the small harbour and look out across the River Conwy to Deganwy, and peak inside the smallest house in Great Britain on the harbourside, which is listed in the Guinness Book of Records.
It is a tranquil place to stay, there is beautiful Welsh countryside right on the doorstep and Snowdonia National Park a mile or two away, making it a great place to stay for walkers and countryside lovers. The resort of Llandudno is just a short distance away.
Here we try to offer a wide selection from budget to luxury hotels, guest houses, bed and breakfast, B&B accommodation suitable for holidays, vacations or business travellers in Conwy or surrounding areas.
