Fairfax Corner is an Eco-friendly; very spacious and comfortable self catering Victorian town house situated centrally in the city centre of York but is surprisingly relaxing and peaceful. There is no through traffic and all rooms have a view of the famous city walls.
"Fairfax Corner is dedicated to providing environmentally friendly holiday accommodation and have installed solar water heating and an air-source heat pump (now we are gas free!) and secondary double glazing. We use Eco-friendly cleaning materials and local products and services wherever possible. Bed linen and towels are included in the tariff. FREE on-street parking for one car. The room which was the original corner shop has been refurbished as a community cafe, totally independent of the self catering accommodation.
Fairfax Corner is the ideal base for visiting York and taking in the picturesque views and all the history that York offers."
