Excellent place. Nice cafe, public toilets. Walk down to the lake where there are seats to sit and enjoy the view of the ferries taking the passengers for their cruise. Sitvon the edge of the lake as many were with their feet dangling over the water, not for the faint hearted. Lovely and calming at Loch Lommand.
You don't get better or more scenic than Loch Lomond and the amazing scenery surrounding it. We were only passing through on our way to Glenfinnan and had to stop on the way back to take photos. The Loch is littered with little shores tucked away & surrounded by beautiful mountains. A good idea to bring along insect repellent however as we were eaten alive. Just an amazing beautiful place. Give yourself a day to enjoy the fill experience.
