Great from start to finish - we’ve just spent a couple of days here and the welcome from the start to the service on a morning with breakfast couldn’t be faulted.The hotel is a great base for Ambleside - being only a couple of minutes walk and of course great access to the rest of the lakes.We will be recommending to our friends and family …. And will be back !

We stayed in family room which was more like a mini apartment. It was lovely and clean and thankfully warm when we got in. Our daughter enjoyed the jacuzzi bath and we all had a really good sleep. The location is perfect, a 2 minute walk to the shops and restaurants. Plenty of parking spaces and this was also free. The staff are really helpful and friendly, especially the breakfast staff. The breakfast was really tasty and we were offered more if we wanted it. Thank you, we’ll definitely be back!

Beautiful home, large room and spotless. Very comfortable bed and great breakfast. Staff are very welcoming and friendly. Highly recommend and will definitely be staying again... staff even knew ours names whilst at the breakfast table which is a lovely personal touch..

Very quaint Victorian Hotel in a central location with parking.Friendly and helpful staff. Spotless rooms, comfy beds, fluffy towels, nice hot shower and gorgeous view of the mountains. Delicious breakfast. Exceptional value.
