Pond cottage is a barn conversion from an old stable, and the large pond is alongside the cottage.
Upon entering the cottage, you will be greeted by cozy interiors adorned with warm, inviting decor. The well-equipped kitchen invites you to whip up delightful meals, while the living area, complete with a crackling wood-burning stove, and view of the large pond, creates a perfect backdrop for cozy evenings with loved ones. Each comfortable bedroom promises a night of restful sleep, immersing you in tranquility after a day of exploration.

This beautiful farm with its farmhouse, barns, cobbled yard, and unique chicken house dates back 400 years and is surrounded by its own garden, swimming pool, arboretum, apple orchard, and ancient pond, which laps against the stone walls of the granary/ cider barn. Inside the cider barn is the ancient twin screw cider press and crusher used to make cider and apple juice from our 10 acre apple orchard. You are welcome to participate in this activity, together with apple picking, and try some of our home-pressed apple juice.
We warmly welcome all guests to immerse themselves in the natural beauty of our expansive 9-acre arboretum. Here, you can wander along meandering paths lined with 350 distinctive specimen trees, each telling its own unique story. Don’t miss the opportunity to visit our newly established Sequoia grove, where you can stand in awe of these towering giants as they begin their remarkable journey towards greatness.
