The Long Barn is an idyllic escape for a group of friends, or for a family celebration. Seven generous double bedrooms, all with en-suite ensures that no one gets the short straw over choice of bedroom. The Long Barn is part of Town End Farm in Appleton le Moors, nestled in the North York Moors National Park.
The Long Barn has been designed as a space for large groups and has the facilities and space to easily handle them. The large biomass boiler provides continuous hot water and toasty heating in the cooler months. The south facing Grade II listed barn opens up to a French feeling courtyard and is unusual for a barn in having plenty of natural light. A new kitchen has all the modern equipment you would expect, and some you might not: 2 dishwashers, 2 drinks coolers, 2 ovens, a large induction hob and an instant boiling water tap. The double height dining room is a “wow” space, big enough for all of you to have a fantastic foodie gathering. Along from the dining room is the large living room with modern Danish wood burning stove; a perfect space to relax in.
High quality materials have been used throughout from high thread count cotton sheets, large fluffy towels and dressing gowns to curtain materials from Mulberry, John Lewis and Romo. Pets welcome by arrangement.
