This magnificent retreat house stands in 25 acres of grounds which includes a labyrinth and beautiful Edwardian gardens. Originally built in 1906 as a family home in the Arts & Craft style, it was then passed to the Diocese of Durham and Newcastle the original features were preserved. 20 comfortable bedrooms are available with stunning views over the grounds, some of which are en-suite which includes our cottage with two bedrooms which sleeps 3. All meals are home cooked by our experienced cook’s. There are several meeting rooms for you to hold a gathering of any kind, including family celebrations, team building or looking for a space to reflect.
