Guests have easy access to Ambleside's many attractions including numerous specialist shops, tearooms, restaurants and country inns. A short walk from the northern edge of Lake Windermere and just on the doorstep of quaint valleys, fells and mountains such as Helvellyn and Scafell Pike. Our eight en-suite rooms are stylishly simple and tranquil and have been newly redecorated. Hairdryers, wine glasses, hot drinks with biscuits and ironing facilities are part of the package! We have drying facilities for wet weather gear, and mountain bike storage with hose-down facility available. We can also provide guests with maps and guide books to help you on your way.
