Located on the North West Tip of the Island of Anglesey in North Wales. Holyhead Golf Club was designed by the ubiquitous James Braid in 1912.
At a glance, the scorecard tells you that the course measures only just over 6000 yards from the back tees and looks relatively tame with only one serious hill to negotiate. The greens have a reputation of being the best in North Wales. Whilst the course looks at its most spectacular in the Spring, its is pleasing all the year round, set as it is, in a very beautiful part of North Wales. The elevated 10th which offers a 360 degree panoramic view over Snowdonia and the Lleyn Peninsula, each hole genuinely gives the golfer something different to think about.
