We visited Coul House and thoroughly enjoyed our visit - we will definitely be back! We were greeted with a warm welcome by Susannah (the owner with her husband) and chose to sit in the entrance hall by the big roaring log fire. I was delighted to discover how child friendly the house was it has such a lovely feel about it. It has a unique balance between feeling like a special/luxurious place to be in yet relaxed enough where all the children were welcome to borrow toys from Susannah to play with and sit on the floor to sing songs. Food was great, so fresh and clearly all made from scratch. We had a selection of their afternoon tea sandwiches and then cakes with hot drinks. Bella the dog was definitely the icing on the cake my 19m old daughter still shouts for her 2 days later! Bella has a wee bed on top off the reception desk where she supervises goings on - she’s a wee star!
