HOUGHTON WATER MILL

A large timber-built watermill on an island in the Great Ouse, with intact machinery which is still operational. The mill has a restored working waterwheel and an art gallery exhibits work by local photographer every July and August. Last working watermill on the River Ouse. Hands-on displays. We also have delightful riverside tea-room and second-hand bookshop.
