This eloquent 18th century country house, originally owned by the author Beatrix Potter, is located in beautiful countryside only a mile away from Bowness on Windermere. Our hotel offers ample parking with 34 luxurious en-suite bedrooms, each with TV, Tea/Coffee making facilities, Wi-Fi and spectacular views of either the woodlands, garden or Lake Windermere.
For the less able we also have two rooms on the ground floor level providing guests with easy access.
Breakfast and evening meals are served in our award-winning restaurant, served by our head chef who has an excellent reputation for fine dining using locally sourced produce.
