Plenty of room on the ex-lifeboat and a short trip to the bird colony on Coquet Island.
22000 Puffins, and 78 pairs of the rare Roseate tern as well as a host of other species proved to be a photographer/birdwatchers dream.
The boat pulled alongside the main colony without disturbing the birds and we were ably guided by the boatman as to what was where.
