Goswick Links was an Open Golf Qualifying Course for the years 2008-2012 and again in 2018 onwards.
This James Braid designed course is a masterpiece, at 6654 yards and with a par of 72, it will give you a true test of golf.
Today's Golfer rates the course as " ..one of the UK's best hidden gems".
Set in the stunning coastal region of north Northumberland, 5-miles south of the historic walled town of Berwick on Tweed, and just north of Lindisfarne, you will find a welcoming club with facilities which include a driving range, putting green, practice pitching, licensed bar and full catering.
As good a links course as you’re likely to find in England and no wonder it’s an Open qualifying venue. Sandwiched between the trainline and the coastline, it was sensational. Really friendly staff were just the icing on the cake. I don’t know if it’s hidden, but it is definitely a gem!!
Played in The Open yesterday, course was amazing, dry as a bone as you’d expect in this weather but the greens were superb. Very well organised, no delays and the results were published at 9pm the same day. Well done Goswick a brilliant day. we’ll be back.
