Our self-contained apartments and bunkhouse are perfect for couples, families, and outdoor enthusiasts seeking a base for short breaks or relaxing getaways.

The apartments Forge, Farriers and Anvil along with Blacksmiths Bunkhouse offers views of Loch Linnhe, the surrounding islands, and Ben Nevis. We are situated in the convenient village of Corpach, 4 miles from Fort William at the south west end of the Caledonian Canal.

In the Blacksmiths bunkhouse, bookings are made for full bunkrooms of 4 or 6 persons, not individual beds. You can also reserve the entire Bunkhouse for exclusive use. Each accommodation is named after parts of the historic Blacksmith’s workshop, which stood on the site of the current Smiddy Bunkhouse.

We also provide on-site laundry, bike and canoe storage, as well as a shared drying room.

We stayed at Anvil and Farrier apartments. Both very good value and comfortable. Plenty of space to cook. Rooms are larger than they look in the pictures. Friendly owners too. Fab views of Ben Nevis and nice to see the steam train go past every day too

This is the 4th or 5th occasion we have used this accommodation whilst motorcycling around Scotland. Most recently we have stayed in the Anvil, an upstairs two bedroomed apartment with small kitchen/dining/seating area. The hosts are friendly and accommodating always responding to requests immediately. We are a group of 4 and able to relegate the snorers to the larger bedroom ensuring a peaceful night for the remaining residents. The kitchen has adequate facilities to cook lumberjack breakfasts and a traditional Sunday dinner, the bedding is always fresh and clean as are the towels. Finding the optimum point between freeze and scald can be tricky with the shower, but once the perfect setting has been achieved it can be relied upon to wash the grimiest of motorcyclists. The setting on the Corpach basin at the start of the Caledonian canal is just tremendous. Views of Ben Nevis, watching the boats navigate the loch gates and even a pre breakfast stroll along the shore to the 'haunted' trawler are, weather permitting, not to be missed. We shall return.
