Santa Pod is the home of Drag Racing, and regularly hosts the FIA European Drag Racing Championships, where you can watch top drivers race machines that rocket to over 300mph in under 5 seconds. You can also go along and have a go on a public track day and put your own car and driving skills to the test, while there are bikes and retro car days for the enthusiast. The European Drag Racing Championships have over 150 teams from across Europe scorching the tarmac, the mighty monsters of Drag Racing come out to compete in these exceptional Championships including the fearsome 8000bhp Top Fuel Dragsters and the sensational Drag Bikes.
