Built in 1904 and set in 10-acres of private grounds Higher Faugan was the family home of renowned artists Stanhope & Elizabeth Forbes, (founder of the Newlyn School of Art).
The north wing of the house, originally the artist studio, now comprises of 4 suites designed for 2 (sleeps 4 utilising sofabeds). Comfortable and tastefully furnished, incorporating king-size beds, sofas, LCD TV's, en-suite bathrooms with bath & shower, all suites are non-smoking.
Although we provide accommodation only, we do offer a complimentary continental healthy start breakfast in suite or room. Guests are welcome to supply own contents for special or alternative diets.
Ample free parking. Registered helipad. No restaurant or public rooms.

Proprietor Doug was friendly and helpful. Our room was up to date and very comfortable with a stunning view. The property is located at the edge of large open lands with access to local amenities. We highly recommend!
