16th Century Coaching Inn opposite the church in the heart of the village. The original building is said to have been built to house the stonemasons and other workers who built the church, between 1216 and 1262.
The Crown is a traditional English pub, and we pride ourselves on our hospitality and a warm welcome. The original wooden beams can be seen in a few places with parts dating back to the 13th century.
Our small country pub offers free Wi-Fi, 2 bars, a separate restaurant and en-suite accommodation. 4 comfortable and homely rooms, furnished in a traditional cottage style. Each with en-suite shower or bathroom, tea/coffee making facilities and Sky TV. Dog friendly and well-behaved dogs are welcome in the rooms and throughout the pub (excluding the restaurant).
