Excellent - comfortable, clean, friendly, relaxed, great breakfasts, lovely landlady. Could not be better!! The hotel is wonderfully located on a quiet, tree lined street just back from the sea. Winner of the Friendliest Hotel Award 2023 - and rightly so.

A friend and I stayed here on our last leg of Hadrian’s Wall walk. The owner was a lovely women who gave helpful recommendations. The rooms are spotless and she has thought of lots of little touches around the place. Her breakfast was superb, best full English of the week! It is like going into her home so if you want a staid soulless chain hotel this is not for you, but if you want quality feather pillows and a good duvet it will! I will definitely stay again. Thanks.

Wonderful warm welcome from Liz. Beds comfy. Excellent breakfast. Plenty of recommendations of things to do and places for eating. A real home from home. Would definitely revisit this is just a wonderful place to visit and unwind.
