The jewel in the crown of Edinburgh! Edinburgh castle is absolutely amazing. I've wanted to visit here for years and finally made it and the castle didn't disappoint.
I love history and walking in the footsteps of monarchs from the past and present is amazing.
We spent the entire day going round and could still have stayed longer.
The views from the top are also phenomenal!
Well worth the entry fee and a fantastic day out for the whole family.

Edinburgh Castle is a remarkable place to explore, rich in history with plenty to discover inside. The National War Museum and various exhibitions offer deep insights into Scotland’s past, particularly its military heritage. The castle is well-preserved, and every corner holds something interesting. Perched high above the city, it offers breathtaking panoramic views that add to the experience. Though it can get crowded at times, the visit is well worth it—not just for history and culture enthusiasts, but for anyone who appreciates the beauty of a stunning landscape.
