There are a nice variety of locks, bridges and aqueducts along the Kennet & Avon canal, and this is arguably one of the most beautiful canal routes in England. The more proficient crew can cruise along the River Avon onto Bristol for further sightseeing in this historic town. Two to six berth self-drive narrowboats are available to hire for a short break or longer holiday from this base.
