Interesting small museum in two restored buildings with a small garden. Friendly and informative staff. Well worth visiting.
Nice and sall museum dealing with local nature and the work of John Moore. Worth half an hour for a diversion if you are in the area.
We enjoyed our visit to this little museum. The exhibits are interesting, with a lot of examples of taxidermy (we were told that all animals/birds died naturally or were the victims of accidents, etc). Once you have looked round the museum, you can go next door to visit a merchant house set up to illustrate how the occupants would have lived in the 1400's - fascinating. There are quite a lot of uneven/steep stairs! The lady tour guide was excellent.
