The Museum tells the story of a thousand years of the history of Wiltshire’s County Town, from its Saxon estate, Medieval Castle and as the centre of West of England woollen cloth production in the industrial period.
Visit the Medieval Castle area, glimpse what life was like in Trowbridge during the Middle Ages and meet formidable Magna Carta Baron – Sir Henry De Bohun.
Why not dress up as medieval character and get your picture snapped in the selfie booth? Or practise being a knight and see some fearsome weaponry!
Housed in a former woollen cloth mill, there are plenty of interactive exhibits for all ages to enjoy, a mouse hunt and regular temporary exhibitions.
